Bison Baseball Notebook: Wilson Shines for Team Canada, Brouse Wins Home Run Derby
Mathew Wilson's 7-0 shutout of Florida State at the NCAA Regionals was one of the finest-pitched games in Bison annals, and Wilson's right arm has remained red hot this summer. Pitching for Team Canada against powerful Team USA on Wednesday at the World University Baseball Championships in the Czech Republic, Wilson took a shutout into the eighth inning before an error opened the door for three unearned runs.

2008 Summer Cross Country Run Results
What a great weekend to be a Bison. The turnout was fantastic and I was especially glad to see many track and field athletes at the race running, working or cheering. The picnic at the house was bigger than ever. It seems like Summer Run is the unofficial kickoff of the new season for both cross country and track and field. Unfortunately we were greeted with a 90 + degree day, however I was very impressed with how many of the present athletes handled the heat. It was also great to see so many alumni attend. The men's alumni team beat the present team 27-29 with the help of a 1-2 finish from Wallace Campbell '08 and Matt Forys '07. The present women's team beat our alumni 19-44.

2008-09 Bucknell Men's Basketball Schedule Announced
Non-conference games against teams from seven different conferences, including two from the Atlantic Coast Conference and three from the Atlantic 10, highlight Bucknell's 2008-09 men's basketball schedule. The Bison have 13 home contests scheduled, and they could add a 14th if they are picked as a home team for the ESPNU BracketBusters event in late February.
