Georgetown Falls to Penn
Chris Wynn returned the opening kickoff for a touchdown, freshman Matt Hamscher ran for 102 yards and a score in his Penn debut and the Quakers defeated Georgetown 27-7 on Saturday.

Georgetown Returns to Action Against Penn on Saturday
Washington, D.C. - After a week off because of an outbreak of norovirus on the Georgetown campus, the Hoyas will host Penn on Saturday, Oct. 11 at Multi-Sport Field. The game will be part of the homecoming festivities this weekend on the Georgetown campus. Kickoff for the game is slated for 2 p.m. on the Hilltop.

Georgetown/Colgate Football Game Will Not Be Rescheduled
The Patriot League office, in consultation with the League's football athletic directors, has determined that the Georgetown at Colgate football game that was postponed on Oct. 4 due to a norovirus outbreak on Georgetown's campus will not be rescheduled this season.

Georgetown Football Back to Work After Weekend Cancellation
To say that the 2008 football season has seen some twists and turns would be an understatement when it comes to the team at Georgetown University. First, the team had its season opener pushed back a day because of the effects of Tropical Storm Hanna. Then, as the Hoyas prepared to play Colgate last weekend, there was an outbreak of norovirus on the Georgetown campus, forcing the cancellation of the game.
